Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a fundamental pillar for any company that prioritizes safe, sustainable, and professional operations. In line with this commitment, PT Teknik Alum Service (PT TAS), a subsidiary of Neo Energy, recently concluded the series of activities for the 2026 National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month with an official Closing Ceremony Assembly. The event was held at the company’s operational area in Torete Village, Bungku Pesisir District, Morowali Regency, on February 12, 2026.
The closing ceremony marked both the culmination and celebration of a month-long series of educational programs and concrete initiatives aimed at strengthening workplace safety culture within the company’s mining operations. The event was attended by management, employees, and business partners, symbolizing a shared commitment to integrating OSH principles into daily operational practices.
Throughout National OSH Month, PT TAS focused not only on internal awareness programs but also extended its outreach to the broader community through educational initiatives with tangible impact. One of the highlight programs was the “Goes to School” initiative, where PT TAS visited local schools such as SMA Negeri 1 Bungku Pesisir to introduce students to the importance of workplace safety and the principles of sustainable mining.
During the seminars conducted, discussions centered on the lifecycle of sustainable mining practices. These sessions emphasized that mining activities must be carefully planned, fully integrated, and aligned with strict operational production standards. Equally important is the adherence to safety, health, and environmental protection procedures, beginning from the exploration stage through post-mining reclamation. This holistic approach reflects PT TAS’s dedication to responsible and sustainable resource management.
According to the Head of Mining Engineering at PT TAS, Ir. Agus Ryanto, the commemoration of National OSH Month is far more than a ceremonial event or a formality. It serves as a crucial moment to strengthen awareness and responsibility among all company personnel regarding workplace safety.
He emphasized that the objective is to embed OSH values deeply into the company’s daily work culture. Through the closing ceremony, PT TAS reaffirmed that safety is not merely a compliance requirement, but a shared value that must be consistently practiced across all operational levels.
Moving forward, PT TAS is committed to continuously improving safety standards through regular training programs, ongoing socialization efforts, and collaboration with various stakeholders. These initiatives aim to create a working environment that is safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible.
The observance of National OSH Month provides companies across Indonesia with an opportunity to reflect on the strategic role of safety in maintaining productivity and long-term sustainability. A strong safety culture not only protects employees, but also supports business partners and stakeholders, demonstrating a company’s commitment to human welfare and environmental stewardship.
Neo Energy and its subsidiaries, including PT TAS, view workplace safety as a long-term investment that directly contributes to operational reliability and sustainable industry growth. Strengthening safety awareness and reinforcing OSH culture will remain a key foundation in realizing the Group’s vision to become a responsible, competitive, and globally respected industry leader.
